The Maryland Mental Health Employment Network (MMHEN), has been undergoing some exciting transformation!
First of all, The Maryland Mental Health Employment Network is changing names! We will be expanding services in order to assist beneficiaries with a variety of disabilities on achieving self-sufficiency. MMHEN will be the Maryland Employment Network. You may notice this as a gradual change over the next few months.
We are also proud to welcome two new staff members to our team:
Stacy Seymore is our new Program Director. She comes to us with over a decade of experience as a supported employment program director in a community-based psychiatric rehabilitation program. She is excited about this new adventure and we are glad to have her on board.
Maggie Scheie-Lurie is our new Peer Employment Specialist. Maggie joins the Maryland Employment Network with several years of experience, including NAMI National. She is working in collaboration with the Maryland Employment Network and On Our Own of Maryland to support individuals in overcoming barriers to self-sufficiency.
